Position Summary & Responsibilities: The Waste Operations Manager maintains complete operational, financial (P&L), safety, and personnel management accountability for regional collection depots and transfer station complexes. You manage operational P&L performance, direct labor scheduling, lead supervisor development, and represent Waste Management during municipal contract negotiations. This role is 100% physical and strictly requires full on-site leadership presence at the facility depot (zero remote capability).
Qualifications & Benefits: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Environmental Management preferred. Requires 5+ years of progressive management experience in waste management, transport logistics, or heavy industrial operations with proven P&L responsibility.
