Position Summary & Responsibilities: As a Waste Management Technician, you oversee daily non-hazardous and hazardous waste collection, container maintenance, and processing operations at client facilities and company transfer depots. You perform routine waste stream audits, operate stationary industrial compactors and balers, prepare EPA/DOT shipping documentation, and ensure all waste holding areas comply with federal environmental regulations. You also perform routine equipment maintenance checks, manage container staging yards, and assist clients with proper waste segregation. This position is 100% physical and strictly requires full on-site facility presence with zero remote work options available.
Qualifications & Benefits: Requires a High School Diploma or GED equivalent (Associate degree in Environmental Science preferred) alongside 1+ years of experience in waste management, industrial cleaning, or environmental compliance. Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and work in industrial environments is essential.
